Tortoise and the Hare, by Katie Combs, award-winning musical theatre writer and director, takes Aesop’s classic fable and remixes it into a totally rad, neon-soaked 80’s musical. With retro beats, big dance breaks, and hilarious woodland characters, this show proves that perseverance and heart never go out of style.

When overconfident Dash the Hare challenges steady Lento the Tortoise to the annual Woodland Rally, the whole forest comes alive. The Pawparazzi squirrels flash their cameras, the foxes cook up schemes, and the crowd is buzzing with big hair, bold colors, and booming bass. Will Dash’s speed guarantee victory, or will Lento’s slow-and-steady determination take the prize?

Packed with catchy songs, laugh-out-loud comedy, and an upbeat message for kids and grown-ups alike, Tortoise and the Hare is a celebration of friendship, resilience, and finding your own rhythm.
