Through the Honeyed Frame

How do we balance between two worlds? Is anything perfectly balanced actually alive?
Honey is pulled into the world of a painting while fumbling to support her mother, Demi-Lou, in the wake of their shared grief. In this reimagining of the Persephone myth, we follow Honey's descent into her own little death as she ventures to give her mother a proper goodbye. Through the Honeyed Frame, examines the labor of women in times of mourning and renders the complicated process of caring for others while caring for oneself.
A Christmas Caroline: The Musical

What is a staged reading?
A staged reading gives audiences a unique opportunity to experience a play or musical while it’s still in development. Rather than a fully produced show with elaborate sets, costumes, and technical elements, the focus is on the heart of the work: the script. For audiences, it’s a chance to be part of that creative process! Experience new work before it’s fully realized and support the artists bringing it to life. You also have the opportunity to ask questions of the playwright following the performance.
